Type of data processed, purposes and methods of processing
In the context of the contractual relationship, personal data (such as personal details, tax identification codes, bank details, email addresses and telephone numbers) may be processed of owners, partners, directors, employees and contractors of suppliers/client companies and freelance professionals who, on the basis of their role, manage the contract and/or are involved in its execution.
The data are processed for purposes related to execution and management of the contract, fulfilment of obligations under laws related to the contractual relationship and protection of contractual rights.
The email addresses you provide to us in the context of our commercial relations may be used for the purpose of sending promotional messages or advertising relative to products similar to those that we have supplied to you; you may opt out of such use of your personal data at any time.
Personal data are processed using both paper and digital tools, by VECAR SRL appointed personnel.
The data may also be processed by companies that provide IT systems management services, in the role of data processors (a list of these parties is available on request by the data subject).
The processing may also be performed by third-parties providing specific processing, administrative and instrumental services required to achieve the aforementioned aims, in the role of data controllers (e.g. banks, professionals and consultants, transport companies, insurance companies, shipping companies, etc.).
Legal basis of processing
The legal basis for the processing is established by the need to execute the contract and any pre-contractual provisions, as well as the need to comply with legal obligations, as well as the legitimate interest of the data controller to use the customer's email address to send commercial information relating to its products/services which is appropriate and related to the commercial relationship.
Nature of data provision
The provision of data is mandatory for the purposes of all legal and contractual obligations; any partial or complete refusal to provide data may result in the inability to execute the contract or to properly fulfil all legal requirements.
Data is stored for the period required for fulfilment of legal obligations regarding the storage of corporate deeds and documents and also after such time for the protection of rights.
Rights of the data subject (Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22 of EU Regulation 679/2016).
The data subject shall have the right to request the data controller for access to personal data concerning him/her and rectification or erasure of such data, restriction of processing or opposition to processing, and portability of the data.
The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
